They are one of the most difficult companies to work with, I have worked with many insurance companies for my business and never had an issue until I worked with Cerity. After I did not renew with them, the insurance audit almost came back double. After setting a payment plan with them, random charges started to come in outside our agreed payment plan. I really would not recommend them at all, the few times I spoke to customer service have been a very unpleasant experience due to their employees bad attitudes. I cannot stress this enough DO NOT WORK with them if you are in a budget.

AVOID THIS COMPANY AT ALL COST!!! We had a workman's comp policy with Cerity for 2 years. No complaints as long as we had a policy with this company, but after two years with no claim, they randomly doubled the insurance rate. When we decided to switch away from Cerity to another company, they turned nasty! They started a retaliatory audit within weeks of us switching to a different insurance company. We provided all the necessary paperwork for the audit, but they still tried to fraudulently claim we owed over $22,000!! This company is utterly despicable, and we will be filing a formal complaint with the Pennsylvania insurance department.

Canceled 11/1/21. Over half year later get a final audit statement with money taken from the bank account. When I look at my portal, could not find my policy agreement, Arianne kept telling me its there, I'm overlooking it, I kept saying it is not. After sending screen shots, she finally realized I was saying it was not there. I was never sent the agreement form saying there will be final audit. I have moved offices months ago and she was saying they mailed multiple notices. I feel if they are not receiving a response, to call or email the policy holder for an upcoming audit.

I feel the way she handled the call was horrible. I also feel when someone cancels their policy, the company needs to talk about address changes in case of final audit so they can get the necessary paperwork sent. Also feel that all legal documents need to be sent when starting a policy, some business owners don't always think to make sure their agreement was sent (if sent online through company portal), they have multiple things running through their heads.

I sign up with Cerity about two months ago,
I have never been able to sign into the portal I have called for help and they promise to help by sending a request to someone else but nobody calls, I have email Cerity but NO HELP either.
and now I'm calling every day and nobody answers the Phone!

*UPDATE***
After The Review They called me back and resolved the Issue!
So I guess I'm going to give them a second chance.

Do not use this company! So glad we switched. They continue to request audit information which has been sent 3+ times. When you call, a teenager answers and sounds confused about everything. She says that someone will call but they never do. No actual person responded to emails. Save your money!!!

Horrible. Can't get anyone on the phone to cancel the policy, always being transferred to a call center who can only take messages. Sent 3 emails in one month, and they never responded. My bank account still being charged. Is this a fake company?

Canceled our business insurance with them in September and continue to get billed to this day. I've contacted them three times about this matter was told that I was going to get refunded the money. Instead, we just continue to get billed. Very unhappy with customer service and the lack of professionalism.

Policy canceled 7 months ago and they debited $806 from my checking yesterday. I'm very glad we caught this. Please be very cautious.
