Fantastic sandy, naturist beach with very few people on it. Quite easily reached by bike (in comparison with most public naturist beaches which normally involve a long, uncomfortable walk). It's apparently unofficial as a naturist beach, but a handwritten sign makes it clear where to go and there were enough of us there. Will go again next time we come to Brittany.

Cool spot to catch sunset. Small parking in the end of unnamed road, could be tricky in the season. Walking trails to the beaches and just around, lots of heather

I finally found it! This is the location of Asterix and Obelix's village! René Goscinny and Albert Uderzo also visited here, and the instant beauty of the landscape inspired the setting of the Asterix comics. That is, the "Indomitable village" (in French, village des Irréductibles Gaulois) surrounded by four Roman garrisons, namely "Aquarium, Babaorum, Laudanum and Petibonum". Unfortunately, only the remains of the "forest teeming with wild boars" exist. Still, the atmosphere and surroundings of the place recreate the "Gallic atmosphere" of Asterix and Obelix. May God rest the souls of René Goscinny and Albert Uderzo. (If I had the means and the opportunity, I would erect a menhir on the shore, with the image of Asterix and Obelix and the names of the creators engraved in it, as a kind of memory and tribute.)

We followed the coastal path for several Kms, on reaching the cap there was heavy mist rolling in from the sea but I imagine the views are stunning anyway as was the heather, bracken and flora along the way.

The most beautiful coastline! Great for walking, cycling & swimming. Good parking facilities - many beaches lifeguarded.
