I had an incredible time at the museum! It's like a time machine filled with 1800 and 1900 objects that truly transport you back in time. The scavenger hunt the receptionist provided was a hit with my children, making the visit interactive and engaging. We spent about 1.5 hours exploring and were particularly impressed by the indigenous art and souvenirs in the charming little store. If you find yourself in Rocky Mountain House, this museum is definitely worth a visit. P.S the bathrooms were spotless.

My husband and I went here a while ago, and we still talk about their amazing collection and volunteers! They have some very incredible things, and they display it so well! The schoolhouse and machinery were our favorites. We spent a good 3 hours reading the detailed signs and learning about the social history of the area! We were so thankful it was open in the off-season, and we will be returning soon!

Was a wonderful experience friendly staff, my kids really enjoyed the player piano! There are so many things to see in the museum it's an incredible collection. I really enjoyed the old school House.

Awesome place. Took us 2 and a half hours kids did a scavenger hunt and tested to see if they were smarter then a 9th grader In 1923. The museum staff were very friendly and helpful. Admission prices were excellent. Would highly recommend!

Really enjoyed this lovely little museum filled with Canadian artifacts and rich in history. Displays are well organized and documented. Surprising amount of objects and informative and friendly staff.

While the exhibits are interesting I found the staff less enthusiastic about us being there it was almost like give us your money see our stuff and leave. There was no offer of a guided tour or even conversation about the exhibits.

I would still recommend the visit but it will be a self led experience
