Friendly staff, value for money, great central location near shops and restaurants, practical for families and young couples and short stays. Beds were comfy, climitisation easy to use and shower worked well. Like the bar area with good music. Breakfast was good value for money.

Funky interior design. Perfectly good rooms, comfortable bed, good shower. Bedroom view was a wall & a roof! Location was pretty central whilst still quiet.

When booking we were told there was somewhere to store our bikes. This wasn't accurate, and the staff knew nothing about our request. They eventually agreed to store our bikes in their "gym", as that was out of action anyway. Note it's also not an accessible hotel - to get to the tiny lift (would not fit a wheelchair or pushchair) you had to go up several stairs. Not a problem for us, but might be for others.

We had a great stay in this independent, fun, and slightly quirky (in a good way) hotel. The 3 staff members we interacted with were terrific and friendly, and we liked our room. The rooms are not large, which was fine with us as we were not staying a long time, but if you want a large room, you probably should book the largest they have. The room & bathroom were very clean and the bed comfy. If we come back through Clermont-Ferrand, we'll definitely stay here again! (And, breakfast was really good too...)

Rooms are clean and very quiet. Surprisingly comfortable beds. Simple decor that is unique and provides all that you need, without unnecessary frills. Staff were extremely attentive and communicative. Good rates that may include a beautiful breakfast (if not, the extra cost for breakfast is totally worth it). Some rates include dinner; can be taken at a restaurant 150 metres away that serves decent food.|This original hotel has all you need and we were really surprised at the great service.|Probably can't do better than this in the centre of town.

On the website, there is under the title "Getting here / Getting around / Good to know" a remark, that the hotel does have a bike garage (Garage à vélos). Well, when we called nobody knew about a safe space for our Mountain Bikes. Please change your website, since we were hoping that you have a space as promoted on the website.

Hotel is central for Clermont-Ferrand and walking distance from old town and cathedral. The hotel itself is fabulous, very clean, comfortable and extremely lovely staff. Room was modern and clean. Bed was really comfy. Breakfast was good and they had English Breakfast tea in teapots 😊 ||||Only negative, is there is no parking at the hotel, but there is an underground car park a short walk away. We paid €11 for the night.

We spent two nights at the Artyster. The reception was friendly and efficient. The room recently done it in simple but effective design were perfectly clean and comfortable. The breakfast was good, fresh, simple and French - very nice. The staff were all very friendly and obliging.

The perfect stay. Smooth check-in and super friendly staff, clean rooms in a modern setting, situated on the border of the city center just a minute away from sightseeing. Delicious breakfast to top of. We'll be back!
